Cambridge glass company, which began producing glass during 1902 in Cambridge, OH., is most notably marked by their logo, a “C” in the middle of a triangle. The company produced everything from glassware and dinnerware to glass perfume bottles. Cambridge began to create transparent colored class in the mid-1920s. They also produced many crystalware pieces, decanters and cocktail shakers. The company continued to grow well into the 1940s. Soon after the end of WWII, however, the company quickly lost sales as Americans started importing cheaper crystal, rather than using finely made crystal. Cambridge Glass closed for business in 1954.
