Chase
Chase Metal Works, founded as a family-owned business in 1876, started as a metal producer and became a major supplier to the U.S. during WWI. After the war, Chase retooled its business and began making high quality, machine-made art deco products for the home and changed its name to Chase Brass & Copper Company. At the onset of WWII, Chase converted back to wartime production. Following the war, Chase chose to cease manufacturing its barware lines. Most Chase chrome plated items will bear the hallmark of a centaur shooting a bow and arrow with Chase under the raised hoofs.
