Fenton
Fenton Art Glass Co. was founded in 1907 by brothers, Frank and John Fenton. The Fenton brothers began by painting on glassware made by other companies until opening their own glass factory in Willamstown, West Virginia. Fenton, known for its love of color and handmade glass, is also responsible for the introduction of iridescent glassware which was highly popular during the mid 20th century. Due to its success and popularity, Fenton was a key player in the glassware industry until it ceased glassware production in 2011.
