Wonderful Seven piece 1940s vintage glass cocktail shaker set decorated with red and gold roosters. Roosters, the mascot of the 'cock'tail were a very popular motif for barware. The gold tone aluminum lid of the shaker has a double opening top for easy stirring as well as shaking. There is a strainer built in to lid with screw off top, and it measures 9 1/2" high, 3 3/4" wide. The single old fashioned size cocktail glasses are 2 7/8" high, 2 1/2" wide and hold 4 ounces. This set does show some use - with age appropriate minor wear to some of the gold bands. It makes you wonder what delightful cocktails this classic set once served up!
