The Napier Company, founded in 1875, started its operations as a manufacturer of jewelry. During WWI (and later during WWII), Napier ceased its jewelry production and focused on producing war related items. In the 1920s, Napier developed a line of barware, styled after Parisian and European designs discovered at the 1925 World's Fair in Paris. After WWII, Napier chose to refocus its business solely on jewelry production, and continues to do so today.
